Are You Ready for the US Open Pickleball Championships?

News Pickle4 Team 04-11-2024

The final countdown is on for the 2024 US Open Pickleball Championships! We hope to see you at The Biggest Pickleball Party in the World™ April 13th-April 20th, 2024 in beautiful Naples, Florida. Here are some important reminders, helpful information, and tips to make sure you are ready for The US Open:

1. PARKING

Parking is a fee of $5.00 per car per day and only cash is accepted. Proceeds from parking fees will go to the local Kiwanis Club to directly impact the lives of children in Collier County. Complimentary shuttle service is provided from the parking lots. Parking is limited and you are encouraged to carpool or take a shuttle when available. Be sure to allow plenty of time for parking on the day as space can fill up quickly.

2. KNOW WHERE TO GO

The US Open transforms East Naples Community Park into a one-of-a-kind pickleball experience. With 60 courts surrounding the iconic Zing Zang Championship Court, there is so much to see and do. The map of East Naples Community Park provides a good overview of what you’ll expect when you visit. The map shows the court layout and other important places such as vendor village, player village, food vendors, and the Fan Zone right next to the Fat Tire Beer Garden.

3. GET ORGANIZED

If you are an athlete playing in the US Open Pickleball Championships you can access important information and rules from the US Open’s Athlete’s Guide. The Guide includes the 2024 Athlete Letter, Player Orientation Video, and key details about check-in, play formats, and more.

Make sure you are prepared to battle it out on the court with The Pickler’s 7 Tips to Dominate the US Open Pickleball Championships (Or Any Other Pickleball Tournament).

4. STAY INFORMED AND FOLLOW ALONG WITH PLAY

Visit https://www.usopenpickleball.com/onsite/ for real time event updates! This site will provide weather updates, daily news, medal winners, and more! A QR code is available to scan throughout East Naples Community Park to access this information.

Watching players battle it out on Zing Zang Championship Court is an unforgettable experience. If you don’t make it on Zing Zang Championship Court, don’t worry! With 60 courts, there are still plenty of opportunities to see incredible matches (amateur and pro) first-hand. There will also be a live feed of Zing Zang Championship Court matches every afternoon playing in the Fat Tire Beer Garden in the Expo Tent, and in The US Open Fan Zone in the back of the Welcome Center.

If you aren’t one of the 50,000 picklers attending The Open and you want to party along at home, you can receive live event updates so you don’t miss out on any of the fun. Live Streaming will also be available through Pickleball Channel, PickleTV, and US Open Channels. Visit youtube.com/pickleballchannel and facebook.com/pickleballchannel to follow along. CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will be broadcasting the finals of the pro women’s and pro men’s doubles finals LIVE on Saturday night. The pro mixed finals will be broadcast at a later date.
