Heat and altitude plagued pickleball players at the major pickleball tournaments these past few weeks, which included the PPA Rocky Mountain Championships, the APP New Jersey Open, and the Tournament of Champions in Brigham City, Utah. In fact, the heat and altitude had such an effect that medical timeouts, withdrawals, and forfeits were commonplace – even in the gold medal match for one pro mixed doubles final!
