Live Longer. Play Pickleball.

News Stacie Townsend 02-18-2020

Recent research shows that if you play pickleball, you will likely live longer!

To break it down even further, research published in the International Journal of Research in Exercise Physiology (L. Smith et al., The Acute and Chronic Physiological Responses to Pickleball in Middle-Aged and Older Adults (2018)) concludes that pickleball leads to better cardiovascular and metabolic responses in middle-aged and older adults. This means that middle-aged and older pickleball players are more likely to avoid premature death and live longer. They are also more likely to improve their physiological functional capacity, meaning that middle-aged and older pickleball players have a greater ability to perform everyday tasks. In other words, pickleball leads to more independent living for aging adults.

Encourage your loved ones to play pickleball to help them live longer and live better!
