  1. Familiarize yourself with the Lottery Procedures and Prioritization

Due to massive demand, the US Open Player Lottery was introduced in 2019 to create the fairest registration process. The lottery was designed to give everyone an equal opportunity if they are playing at their correct skill and age.

In order to be eligible for the US Open Player Lottery, you may compete in the event that matches:

a) The age of the lowest team member, AND

b) The skill level equal to or higher of the highest team member

Example of a doubles team:

Player A = 54 years old and 3.752 DUPR

Player B = 47 years old and 4.102 DUPR

The correct event for the above example doubles team is 45-49 Age and 4.0 Skill.

Ratings are determined at the time of registration.

Age is determined as of 12/31/25.
