Pickleball Den will enable the US Open to expand and provide an integrated experience for athletes and spectators

NAPLES, Fla., April 25, 2024 — The US Open Pickleball Championships today announced that it will move to Pickleball Den software for the 2025 US OPEN to oversee all player and spectator interactions, as well as the amateur and pro tournaments.

Mike Dee, chairman and chief executive officer of Pickle4 noted that, “With this switch to the best tournament software, we will be able to assist athletes and spectators at an unprecedented level.  In addition, we’re thrilled to announce that by using Pickleball Den we will be able to increase the lottery acceptance rate by 10%. We are excited about the improvement in software and what it will mean for the athletes and spectators.”

Due to the immense popularity of the US Open Pickleball Championships, the event can only accept approximately 50% of lottery registrants. In the record-breaking 2024 US Open tournament, the tournament accepted approximately 3,250 athletes leaving thousands of applicants unable to participate. By utilizing Pickleball Den software, this will allow the US Open to accept a higher percentage of lottery registrants.
