Major League Pickleball held its 2024 Mid-Season Tournament July 10-14 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This unique event saw all 22 MLP teams participating. In the Premier League, teammates Zane Navratil, Anna Leigh Waters, Mari Humberg, and Will Howels of the New Jersey 5s clinched the win over the D.C. Pickleball Team. 🏆 D.C. teammates Dekel Bar and James Ignatowich had reason to celebrate, Bar being the #1 ranked male player of the weekend and #2 being Ignatowich.
In Challenger League, The Brooklyn Aces were victorious. 🥇 Players Lina Padegimaite, Layne Sleeth, Pablo Tellez, and Daniel De La Rosa gave the Las Vegas Night Owls their first defeat of 2024 in the final. Pablo Tellez led Brooklyn with a dominant performance, being the only player to go undefeated at the event. 💪
